MEET JAMEY GREEN

Minister of Music, Pianist, Soloist

Thirty years experience as a church musician, is also Co-founder, Executive/Artistic Director of the Boiler Room Theatre at the Factory ,  Williamson County's First Live Professional Performing Arts Theatre.  

A Belmont University graduate with a BA in Music and Minor in Theatre, this long time Franklin resident has directed and/or music directed, many of the productions at BRT including the box office smash hit,  McBeth, the Musical, which he co-wrote. It will be included in the 2014-2015 Boiler Room Season.

Upon his graduation from Belmont, Jamey was one of a select few who went straight to Unto These Hills in Cherokee, NC, then became Musical Director for the Performing Arts Center in St. Croix, Virgin Islands, and later Chaffin’s Barn Dinner Theatre Musical Director. He was Performer/Composer for Theatrerevolution. Nashville and Co-Owner, Avante Garage Dinner Theatre, Church Street Center in Nashville.

He also produced some of his own shows in New York,, including his Musical Comedy, “The Melancholy Dame” which enjoyed a successful  run. His accomplishments at BRT have included Best Musical Director and Best Musical Theatre Awards, directing too many great shows to name, and last year Music Directing the amazing “Les Miserables”, a very successful benefit show for the Boiler Room, held at Liberty Hall at the Factory. Jamey also teaches voice and piano students, both private and also youth at Act Too Players, sometimes voice coaching and directing as well for their productions. Jamey's passion for music and using his God given talent is experienced every Sunday at Calvary Community.
